How do Teeth Veneers work?

There are 3 steps in the dental veneer process.

The entire process could take more than 10 days, which typically corresponds to the recovery of the gums. This makes it easier to fit the veneer into the patient’s teeth. 

3. Application. All in all, the dental veneer procedure typically takes around 10 days to complete. Firstly, the patient’s teeth will undergo a thorough cleansing, polishing, and gentle roughening to ensure optimal adhesion of the veneers. Transparent adhesive is then used to attach the veneers securely to the teeth. In the case of discolored teeth, an opaque cement is applied before bonding the porcelain material. The veneer blends seamlessly with the color of adjacent teeth, creating a natural appearance. Once the application is successful, the patient will be asked to close their mouth, allowing the dentist to check if the top and lower teeth fit together appropriately and comfortably.
